PACE stands for: Physical Activity Challenge for Enjoyment.
PACE Day is the school's annual major fundraising project. It is staged in conjunction with the school's P&C Association, our sporting partners and the wider Cairns Business Community.
The aim of P.A.C.E. is to raise funds which are used to enhance the school and learning resources for all members of the school community, most importantly for our students.
There are three components to the day:
1. Mini Fair
Students enter competitions and challenges for a small cost, with the chance to win great prizes. Teachers will send home information about the mini fair and what assistance they need to make this a success.
2. Physical Activity Challenge
This is run on the oval and includes NAIDOC activities in celebration of NAIDOC week as well as a range of ball skills, challenges and games that students have learned a practised during their PE lessons.
3. Run4fun Colour Explosion
Open to all students who raise $20 individually or $50 per family. This will be held between 2.00pm and 3.00pm on PACE day.
